Summit’s Culture Workshops
In order to promote the cultural heritage of The Bahamas as well as other countries, Summit has established a year-long workshop specifically designed to educate our students about their culture. Since Summit is a diverse school, students will have a chance to compare their customs and traditions with those of The Bahamas.

During the 2008/2009 academic year, we were pleased to have partnered with John Cox, a leading Bahamian artist, and other artisans from Popop Studios to engage in a six month inquiry into Art.  Students learned about various forms of art and worked weekly on projects. All students participated in a week long art exhibit in June. The program will be extended even further during the 2009/2010 school year.
